Introduction 

If you are reading this guide, it’s likely that you are considering organizing or have already decided to organize a Next System Teach-In. Congratulations, and thank you! In this guide you will find six short essays addressing:

1. you and your role in organizing a Teach-In;
2. what a Teach-In is and what makes a Next System Teach-In special;
3. what happens at a Next System Teach-In;
4. steps to take in organizing your Teach-In;
5. what happens after your Teach-In; and,
6. connecting our Teach-Ins.

The next major round of Next System Teach-Ins will take place on campuses and in communities around the world between April 1st and May 1st of 2027. Each Teach-In is the work of a local team, working in communication and coordination with others elsewhere.
